{"id":15143,"date":"2018-10-31T20:02:31","date_gmt":"2018-11-01T02:02:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bookbinderlocal455.com\/blog\/?p=15143"},"modified":"2018-10-31T20:02:31","modified_gmt":"2018-11-01T02:02:31","slug":"halloween-bust","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bookbinderlocal455.com\/blog\/2018\/10\/31\/halloween-bust\/","title":{"rendered":"halloween bust"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ok, let&#8217;s be real, this halloween was a total bust, though a fun bust. had too many school assignments to really do\u00a0something (i have 15 book reviews due sunday; have done 2ish, i&#8217;m scared\/not scared) (ok\u00a0 v. scared)<em>, <\/em>though i did volunteer for the library at their annual costume contest. i dressed up as <a href=\"https:\/\/s1.stabroeknews.com\/images\/2017\/05\/20170513Norma-Rae1.jpg\">norma rae<\/a>, which was a COMPLETE DUD, mostly because no one under age 100 knows the <em>norma rae <\/em>movie, though truth be told, i couldn&#8217;t get my hair right and didn&#8217;t have all details exact (though i did have\u00a0 the UNION sign, which was quite perfectly replicated, tbh) (but i couldn&#8217;t carry it as i was manning the &#8220;knock down cans&#8221; game) (was disappointed to see that boys were quite fierce at throwing the beanbags, while the girls gently tossed them; is this nature gender stuff in real life?). ANYWAY, as norma rae &#8212; i just looked like myself with some ear plugs and a union pin.
