I\u2019m trying to connect my Instagram to my Facebook, because really, I can\u2019t post to different things all the time. But what I love so much about social media \u2014 in the beginning, I was wary of it because I was just seeing pictures people were posting of themselves in their underwear. Just things that embarrass me. But what I love so much about Facebook and Twitter and Instagram, now that they\u2019re all connected, is that you can use it as a place of gratitude, and of giving thanks.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"parbase section entrytext\">\n<p><b>Like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vulture.com\/2014\/05\/jessica-chastain-donatella-versace-flower-delivery.html\">the Donatella Versace roses<\/a>.<\/b><br \/>\nYes! Exactly! Which are right there! [<em>Points to the window, where there\u2019s a huge vase of what might be 100 white roses<\/em>] Which is, like, the most roses I\u2019ve ever gotten in my life. I want to say think you for things. I want to say thank you for the first female Saudi Arabian director [Haifaa Al-Mansourto], who made <i>Wadjda<\/i>. Or I wanted to write about <i>Broken Circle Breakdown<\/i>, the Belgian film. Or Oscar Isaacs, and how talented I think he is. So I try to keep it as a place of giving thanks, because I\u2019ve been given so much.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"parbase section entrytext\">\n<p><b>With the roses you just wanted to be like, \u201cThanks, Donatella!\u201d<\/b><br \/>\nYeah, and also like, \u201cReally?!\u201d Like, I couldn\u2019t even lift them! Someone lifted them and handed them to me. I don\u2019t think I\u2019d ever get used to something like that. I\u2019m not blas\u00e9, you know? It\u2019s still \u2014 crazy. But in a fabulous way. It\u2019s not my everyday life, getting \u2014 I don\u2019t even know how many roses that is.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"parbase section entrytext\">\n<blockquote><p><b>Fifty, at least.<\/b><br \/>\nThat\u2019s only 50? No, it has to be more. That\u2019s insane. It\u2019s also the pot, too.
