ok i shouldn’t be reading the writer’s almanac, probably, cuz it’s hack summary infused with garrison keillor folksy intimacy BUT fact is i kinda love it (for both those reasons) (keep making it bite size folks). anyway, meant to tag this a bit ago, from charles wright‘s bio:

not sure if i totally agree, but it reminded me of how i feel about music and my inability to hear the lyrics and how the pure sound is what i respond to. an ongoing conversation.
