don’t wanna forget

was a bumpy christmas this year, too much frostiness and me yelling at my mom and multiple pressured demands on time, so not my finest moments, but i do not want to forget the glory that was austin:

GLORY

• getting discounted hippie blanket, foot blanket, and body oil at the bunkhouse employee sale
• getting  to-go cake for dinner
• spending thursday night at carolyn’s in that cozy cozy bed
• seeing the new spiderman with john, nancy, and carolyn, IT TWAS DOPE
• seeing roma with john, nancy, and carolyn, IT TWAS ALSO DOPE
• seeing elf with julie, chad, claire, and nathan, IT TWAS ALSO DOPE
• falling asleep to crazy rich asians at caroline’s
• staying with john and nancy, who always make it so cozy and chill
• babysitting thomas, who was a perfect love, i may in fact be IN love with him
• drinking a smoothie and soup with carolyn and caroline
• watching it’s a wonderful life with john and nancy and remembering that the movie still ends rather bleakly, which makes the message so much more powerful
• eating the best coziest vegetable soup at carolyn and ben’s
• having my best pals see ross play
• finishing that benedict arnold book, more to come on this

NOT GLORY

• the wicked cold that basically had me like a walking cotton ball for five days
