Best episodes of The Daily involve NY Times Supreme Court reporter Adam Liptak. I love his take and seriousness but also his humor and as you know I am a Supreme Court junkie (light use of the word junkie). His writing is more dry but I still read all of his articles. PS I’m supposed to be writing a grant and instead I’m writing this platonic love letter to Liptak and roasting myself next to a heater.

had perhaps the best meal of 2023 with carolyn and her family at pizza hut in alpine — the frozen-in-time ambiance, the company, the reminder of creamy italian dressing…all simply A+. went down a strange rabbit hole on their website looking for a pizza hut in austin and got caught up in their marketing. apparently you can register trademark “Comin’ In Hot”?! so much good capitalization on the site.
