MONDAY PRE-BIRTHDAY MOM LEAVING BLUES

mom was here this past weekend and showered me with pre-birthday dinners and a ton of groceries and a ton of presents, some of which i already opened (a box of stove top and the books don’t sweat the small stuff at work and how to win friends and influence people). she cried quite hard when she left (“i liked all your friends so much [sob], and i like ross so much [sob]”), but i get the weepiness because THINGS CAN BE SO BEAUTIFUL. like friendship and love and riding around in a car with your mom.
