clyde tried to eat a chicken this morning

FACTS:
chickens live next door to me
sometimes said chickens get into my yard (see “the little lost chicken who roosted on my bike” post)
sometimes clyde, r’s dog, spends the night at my house
sometimes i let clyde out in the morning

WHEN CHICKENS AND CLYDE MEET

RESULTS:
feathers in clyde’s mouth
feathers flying out of clyde’s mouth onto my bedroom floor
fellow chickens clucking in wild dismay
defeathered chicken unharmed but startled FOR LIFE
