just googled “how to have a thick skin”

we’re having two big shows this april (at the drive-in and feist) and both tickets sold out really quick and all sales were online. we promoted on facebook, the radio, marfalist, our newsletter, but people still missed out, and they are making their complaints very noisily on facebook (and in person) (and over email). pretty fun. “what about people who don’t use the computer all the time” “what about people who aren’t paying attention” etc. etc.

i’m pretty good with learning from mistakes, and i will figure out how to sell tickets better to local idiots, but it’s only been a few days and i’m like, can i have a few days to just CHILL, haterz. but today i got convinced to go to a brunch, and this chick just starts going off about it. i was like, wow, cool finale to my easter brunch, thanks. and so she’s just talking and talking, and i was like, “uh…” and then walked out of the room. while she was talking. and then just walked straight out of the house.
