good things

a few good things:

  • pink neon nail polish from target
  • prime suspect on hulu (ads are meh but i’ll take it for awhile) (mirren was 46 when she made prime suspect, which is both cheering and destabilizing)
  • my new blazer — taking it back to my high school style yo
  • wrapping levi’s new lava lamp
  • the blistering guitar solos in “down by the river” (this live video is so long but it does capture how they’re just diving into the story of the song through that riff)
  • all the tomatoes
  • the new spiderman trailer
  • labor day holiday BLESS

bad things:

  • perma state of awkwardness and unease in regard to marfa, friendship, all social interactions
  • tears leaking out of me eyes when ross played ernie graham’s “for a little while”
  • i had a SHORT volunteer shift at the marfa lights festival, but they were overstaffed so i asked if i should stay, and when the boss said i could just stay and hang out, my face got a look of pure horror on it. i’m sorry all friends, i’m not in a good place

neither good nor bad:

  • the martin short/steve martin/selena gomez show “only murders in the building” — it’s like vaguely out-of-touch but comforting old tea
