rough week

• got an ADA complaint for the library
• got a migraine that night and could not shake it until today, five days later (knock wood that it is in fact shaken)
• insurance keeps rejecting my new headache meds — had to go back and ask the doc to suggest something else and switch to a less good pain reliever and now have to try and figure out how to get the (alternative) preventative shot, which they denied. no no no no no. appeal appeal appeal. time time time. cool system.
• steroids did not work for the tooth issues, will have to return to el paso for another root canal? (self-diagnosing) (but the only bright side is that maybe it will finally cure a) the pain in my jaw and b) my ear troubles, which have been a problem for 1.5 years!!!!) (so i’m weirdly hopeful if this repairing root canal, which i PRAY they can do, fixes everything?)
• have some kind of head cold?!?!?
• had two new staff people start while kim is on maternity leave
• had a grant due today, which i worked on last night and finished this morning (but fact — working from bed is dope)
• suzy leaving town, susannah gone, ross gone, no friends, loneliness

on the bright side:

• BASKETBALL
• i think we get shaq, kenny, and charles commentary now????
• getting solo take out on a friday night
• this tweet
• potentially having tomorrow totally work free??????
